- Promote Literacy and Celebrations through Student Letter Writing
11th - Science Spirit Night @ Spring Creek BBQ 5-9 PM
15th - EME PTA CARNIVAL LUAU 11-3 PM (Rain or Shine!)
- Food Trucks
- Games, Fire Truck Rides, Inflatables, Balloon Twisters, Face Painting, Cupcake Walk, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Photo Booth and Dunk Tank
- TCU Tailgate Fun
17th -Spirit Day & Night @ The Pizza Buffet (dine-in and carry out)
19th - Fun Run Pep Rally 2 PM
19th - RSVP for Thanksgiving Luncheon DUE
24-31- Red Ribbon Week "We are Drug Free"
- 24th - "Pledge Day/ Wear RED day"
- 25th - "Turn your back on drugs!" Wear your shirt backwards.
- 26th - "Team up against drugs!" Wear your favorite team jersey/shirt.
- 27th - "My future is bright; drug and bully free!" Wear neon colors or sunglasses.
- 28th - "Sock it to drugs!" Wear crazy socks.
28th - EME PTA Fun Run!!!!!
- 31st- "I've got good character!" Dress up as your favorite storybook/comic book character. Make sure you have the book with you to share!

EME Eats Cafe and the Silver/ Golden Spoon Award!
Eagle Mountain Elementary is starting a "positive action" plan to encourage a more pleasant dining experience for your children and visitors in our EME Eats Cafe. Each week, one class from each grade level will be award the SILVER Spoon Certificate for the week and their class will be entered in a drawing for the Golden Spoon Award passed out during our EME Awards Assembly (4 times a year). Golden Spoon Award winners will be treated to a "Principal Pizza Party!!"
Mrs. DeCorte's class is our first winner! Way to go, Mrs. DeCorte's homeroom class for modeling "Eagle Positive Behavior" in our Cafe!
How does a class earn a Silver Spoon Certificate?
- Maintain a Zone 1-soft voice level (inside voice with a neighbor)
- Raise hand for help
- Remember condiments, fork and spoon
- Clean up after themselves
- Stay seated until dismissed
- Be respectful to self, others, and school property
- Maintain a silent time at the end of the lunch.
