Gallatin High Update

Week of March 27-April 1, 2023

Parking and Traffic

It is not a surprise that there is still a lot of snow around campus this morning. Please drive and park carefully.

Our snow contractor and custodial crew are doing their best to ensure there are clear pathways in and out of the building. However, they had to move snow to some atypical locations just to be able to clear snow in general.

Please be patient and considerate as our crews focus on main entrances and the pathways to and from those areas as well as perimeter sidewalks. They will continue to work on snow removal throughout the week.

Thank you for your help!

Biomed 4 visits Butte

On March 22nd, Biomed 4 classes from GHS and BHS traveled to Butte to work with the Clark Fork Watershed Education Program. Biomed 4 students have been learning how a person's environment may affect their health through routes of ingestion, inhalation, and absorption. Thanks to CFWEP, students were able to see examples of all three, as well as research and remediation efforts taking place to mitigate the effects for people living in Butte. Students were able to discuss chemistry, bioaccumulation, and a bit of Butte history.
