Greetings Raider Families and Staff,

The predicted weather for the upcoming week does not sound like our typical November weather so hopefully all of those unfinished outdoor projects get one last chance. Today’s Raider Update includes a follow-up from election day, including the technology levy and the school board election, Veterans Day, the upcoming November School Board Meeting, and finally, calendar reminders.

Technology Levy - Thank you!!!

On behalf of students, teachers and staff, thank you for your support for the recent technology levy.

The support will ensure that Hastings Public School students will have the necessary tools in an ever-changing digital world. Cyber and physical security will also be enhanced to the greatest extent possible. We are grateful for your trust and confidence.

Board Member Election - Thank you to all the candidates who ran for 2024 Hastings School Board seats. Congratulations to the following who will take their new seats in January.

Veterans Day - Thank you to everyone who attended our 2023 Veterans Day celebration. To all of our veterans in the Hastings Community - THANK YOU for your service. Also, thank you to all who made the program such a special one. From the posting of the Nation’s colors to the music to our speakers, the event was a special tribute. We are already looking forward to planning our 2024 event.

November School Board Meeting - The upcoming November board meeting will be a busy one. While it’s a full agenda, a few topics that you may be interested in include:

Also, please note that the November 21, 2023 meeting will be held at 7:30pm in the middle school media center.

Calendar Reminders - With our upcoming high school musical this weekend, it’s a great time to review all our upcoming Raider events. Please review the 23-24 district calendar and the entire district events calendar.
