Note from Ms. Moulton
Good Morning, Hosmer Families!
The background of this week's newsletter is a photograph of two gorgeous trees outside of the hosmer, Framed by the stairway window, they serve as a beautiful image of the changing seasons. Right now, they are vibrant colors, showcasing the fall season.
This week, our District will utilize the metrics from the past several weeks to make a determination about returning to school in the hybrid model. If it is determined that in-person lschool will begin, I will share a special edition newsletter including protocols (and videos similar to the one below) that explain arrival and dismissal procedures, navigating the building, and health precautions including mask-wearing for everyone entering school grounds. When we cross the "Bridge to Hybrid", students in Cohort A will begin coming into the building next Tuesday and Thursday and students in Cohort B would come in on Wednesday and Friday.
In other news, we have reached a milestone in the construction of our new building! The crane pictured below was erected on Friday. As I drove around town this weekend I noticed that it is so tall that it can be seen from pretty far away! The crane is here because the steel beams are on their way. If everything continues to go as planned, the entire building should be framed by the end of November.
Once again, I thank you all for your continued support of our Hosmer students, teachers, and leaders. This is certainly an exceptional community and I am proud to be a part of it.
Sincerely,
Erin Moulton
