GMS STEM Booster Club Family Picnic next Saturday

Our GMS STEM Booster Club will be hosting our first Family Picnic. Please see the flyer in English and Spanish for detailed information, but the gist is:

  • When: Saturday, October 24th from 3:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Where: Pickering Park Pavillion 2700 N. Kimball Ave in Grapevine
  • Who: GMS STEM Academy families
  • What to Bring (by first initial of Lastname): A-F / Desserts, G-L / Chips&Dips, M-R / Fruit or Veggie Tray, S-Z Drinks

We recommend that each family member bring a chair to sit on, and don't forget to pack some sporting equipment (soccer balls, frisbees, baseball gloves, kites, footballs, etc.).

Be a Booster!

Give your child a boost - join the GMS STEM Booster Club. It's as simple as completing the membership form (English or Spanish) and returning it to GMS.

Go Pink!

It's Pink Week 2015 - October 19-23. To help build support of breast cancer awareness, students are invited to participate in the following activities hosted by GMS PALS and Pony Pride:

  • During lunch daily: our GMS PALS will be hosting a "duck game". Bring a 50 cent donation to play.
  • Tuesday, October 20th: Wear pink to school and to the football game that night. GMS PALS will be offering face painting during the game, so bring some extra money to join in the fun.

Please reserve time in your homework schedule for Membean practice. The minimum weekly requirement is 30-minutes.
