  • Over hundreds of new albums are added annually.
  • Most recordings display the original CD covers and include complete track lists.
  • Supporting textual materials include a glossary, pronunciation guide, opera synopses and libretti, music fundamental terms, repertoire, and histories.

Ways to search Naxos Music Library

  • Keyword search by composer, work title, genre, country, period, or year of composition
  • Advanced search that includes instrument, music category, performer, or a combination of terms

You can search the catalogue by using the People tab on the right to find composers or artist names

What are the shortcomings?

  • Requires a paid subscription
  • Does not include some of the major labels - EMI Classics & Eroica Classical Recordings
  • Some sites are not yet fully developed (musicology)
  • Music cannot be downloaded but it can be purchased through other venues such as Apple music
