Earn Silver Status by August 31 to Maintain Premiums
Health insurance participants have until August 31 to earn enough points to qualify for Silver Status in the District's Wellness Incentive Program. As of this week, 48 subscribers have more than 1,000 points that they still need to earn. This ranges from 1,033 on the low end to almost 16,000 on the high end. You can check your points by logging into Go365 and clicking on the circled runner in the blue bar across the top of the page.
If you are not at Silver Status (8,000 points) by now, a good way to earn points is to have your spouse complete the biometric screening and take the health assessment on the Go365 app. Becky Frakes can furnish you with the biometric screening form that your spouse's physician can complete.
Adult dependents of an employee can also complete that health assessment on the Go365 app and it would be wise to ask them to do so! Have your dependents link their fitbits or mobile phones to the Go365 app - they can help you reach your family target.
There are many ways to earn Silver Status, but time is starting to run out! Please keep the August 31 deadline in mind as failure to reach Silver Status by then will result in a hefty increase in health insurance premiums.
WRS Offers In-Person Summer Appointments
The Department of Employee Trust Funds offers in-person group retirement appointments statewide. ETF benefits specialists will be in your area at one of the cities listed below:
Oshkosh - July 12 and 13; Appleton - August 22 and 23; Green Bay - Sept. 6 and 7, and Fond du Lac - Sept. 7.
Group appointments can accommodate up to 12 members and their guests; therefore, wait times for group appointments are usually much shorter than for individual appointments. The ETF benefits specialist reviews the same topics covered in an individual appointment, and attendees will have the benefit of learning from other members’ questions. No individual or personal information is shared with the group.
Requirement: Before scheduling an appointment, you must have received a Retirement Benefit Estimates and Application (ET-4301) or a Disability Retirement Estimate Request form. You may request an estimate if you are within 12 months of your minimum retirement age.
