If you need a Skyward Family Access account or have additional questions, please contact our campus registrar by email - steven.ray@pfisd.net . Please include your name, your student’s name, and your student’s school on the email to the parent portal.

City of Pflugerville & PfISD to provide books to students
The Pflugerville Public Library (PPL) and Pflugerville Independent School District (PfISD) are partnering to get books into the homes of local children through the Pflugerville Reads Project.
On Tuesday, May 26 from 8-9 a.m. and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. parents of PfISD students will be able to pick up a free book for each child in their household (while supplies last) when they stop by the following schools for curbside breakfast and lunch pick up:
- Timmerman Elementary School
- Dessau Middle School
- Kelly Lane Middle School
- Park Crest Middle School
- Westview Middle School
- Copperfield Elementary
- Northwest Elementary
- Pflugerville Elementary
- Wieland Elementary
- Windermere Elementary
The books for the Pflugerville Reads Project were collected through a combination of discounted bulk purchases and book donations from PfISD and PPL. The purchase of books was funded by the Friends of the Pflugerville Library, funds previously allocated to PPL programs, and a stipend granted to Cawthon by the 2020 Young Adult Reading Incentive Award.
As with meal curbside pickup, all personnel will be wearing gloves and masks to ensure their own safety and the safety of the families receiving books.
Learning.com Keyboarding Challenge May 11-29
Keyboarding skills are more vital than ever to help Pflugerville ISD students effectively utilize and communicate on their devices. Learning.com’s Adaptive Keyboarding teaches the proper technique and finger placement that will increase students’ words per minute, speed, and accuracy on the keyboard!
That is why Learning.com is inviting all students in grades 3-8 to participate in “The Great Texas Keyboarding Challenge” Beginning on May 11 and concluding on May 29th using the Adaptive Keyboarding available in their Learning.com portal. PfISD students will be competing with students across the state of Texas. The Top 50 TX students with the most typing practice time will receive a $10 Amazon eGift card. Yes, we are inviting all Pflugerville ISD #-8 students to participate.
BRIGHT BYTES SURVEY
We are partnering with BrightBytes, an educational research organization, to learn more about you and your students’ technology access and use for learning.
The goal of this project is to gather data on technology access, skills, and your school’s technology environment, in order to understand the connection between technology use and student achievement.
Our data collection window is set to run from now to May 27, 2020.
There is one designed for students, and one designed for parents.
Your questionnaire links are listed below:
Your participation and support is important to us and will make the difference between having a complete understanding of our school’s technology use versus a limited one.
Art to Remember
Hi families and friends,
Our school is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child’s art. There are over 50 products and many are less than $15. These make great gifts and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school. Click on the link below and enter the online order code shown on your child’s order form or to search for your child’s artwork. Then, have fun shopping!
