Trail Guide
Liberty Creek Elementary
Message from the Principal
We are looking forward to another great week as we approach the halfway mark of the school year. We are crossing our fingers that the ground hog will also be predicting an early spring as warmer temperatures would be much appreciated.
As we continue to monitor the safety of our students we ask the following
- ALL families need to use the designated crosswalks in the front of the school. DO NOT walk your child in an undesignated area.
- If you are picking up your child in the valet lines, you need to display your red valet tag. This is a form of security for us. If you have misplaced your car tag, please call our front office and we can make you a new one.
- If you are dropping your child off in valet, please use one of the 3 lanes. Do not use the visitor parking lot as a separate drop off. All students MUST have an adult walk them across the crosswalk.
Home Connection in reading
If you are looking for additional ways to support your child, we strongly urge you to have them log onto their Clever accounts and access Lexia, an online learning program we use to help supplement their foundational skills. The students simply login into their CLEVER accounts (see attachment) and practice. Once they level up, the teacher prints their certificate and we celebrate their accomplishments by reading their name during morning announcements.
Thank you once again for your ongoing partnership with us in your child's educational journey!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Alsaker

Recess Rangers (formerly known as Watch DOGS): We are looking for volunteers who would like to join us in saying hello to our students during lunch and then playing outside with them at recess. In the past, we have had adults organize a game of kickball, soccer, 4-square, etc. Our students enjoy having adults come and interact with them.
