Mustang Message April 24th

Family Information
Hello Mustang families,
It is both hard to believe and not surprising that we have completed week five of remote learning! Please know how much we APPRECIATE all of you as community members in assisting us in your child’s education. Your balancing of so many plates right now does not go unnoticed and we THANK YOU for your efforts in making your child’s education and their social/emotional well-being a priority! Please continue to reach out to us with anything that you need. We’re looking forward to working with you in the coming weeks to end the school year on a positive note.
At the Millridge PTG meeting on Wednesday evening I shared some information that are likely questions on people’s minds since our governor shared that remote learning will continue for the remainder of the school year.
· Students will be able to pick up their personal belongings prior to summer break. We will share a schedule that respect social distancing guidelines in the coming weeks.
· Field trip fees will be reimbursed to families soon due to cancelling these events for our students.
· We will honor our fifth grade students to close the year in a safe way, respecting many traditions that are a part of leaving Millridge. Look for details soon to be shared with those families. This is VERY important to Mrs. Cicerchi, our Fifth Grade Team and me and is a large priority during these unique times.
· Construction is slated to occur on schedule at Millridge! We will be looking closely at guidelines shared by state health officials and will be working within those parameters.
Be well, stay healthy and continue to KEEP SMILING!
