Edwin Eugene "Buzz" Aldrin Jr was born January 20, 1930 in Essex County, New Jersey. Buzz has three kids, Janice Aldrin, James Aldrin, and Andrew Aldrin. He spent 12 days, 1 hour, 52 minutes in space. He was in Gemini 12, Apollo 11. He was the second person to walk the moon. He set foot on the moon at 3:15:16 on July 21, 1969. He is a former U.S. Air Force officer and a command pilot. He was a jet fighter during the Korean War.
