Rev. Dr. Barnabe D’Souza is a Salesian from India. He holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Coventry, U.K. and has lectured in several Universities in Asia, Africa and Australia. He has 17 publications to his credit and several presentations on social research, community development and the social sciences at various international fora. Dr. D’Souza was the Founder and Director of the Don Bosco Research Centre and Connect all India - an initiative for Social and Financial Inclusion of poverty groups. Through his work, he has brought several innovations for the organizations of the marginalized he has worked with for over 3 decades.
Dr. D’Souza has also been working with marginalized families in their process of financial inclusion through Connect All India, to help families make identity documents to help gain access to government grants, help banking, savings and income generation models through unique financial literacy methods in villages and slum communities.
