Dress to impress in your Sunday Best! Join us on Saturday, February 4th in the GHES cafeteria for a fun night with your special grown up at Buzzy's Red Carpet Winter Formal! We will have food, drinks, a DJ, photo booth, and more!

House Pep Rally - Friday, February 3rd!
For Freezing Friday, try to incorporate your house color in your outfit. We will have our 2nd pep rally that morning! If your child needs a new house shirt, one can be purchased via the PTO website.
Parents of 4th & 5th Grade Boys - Let Me Run Registration - Opens February 1st!
Your registration fee includes trained coaches, fourteen Let Me Run curriculum lessons, a dri-fit program t-shirt, program supplies, and a race medal — as well as the invaluable program benefits of improved social, emotional and physical health, decreased screen time, 2.5 hours of physical activity per week, a safe, supportive environment, developed self-confidence and friendships, and so much more.
Any items left in lost & found will be donated after February 3rd!
Hornet Hero
We love recognizing our Gold Hill Family! Each month, one staff member is named our "Hornet Hero". If anyone at GHES has stood out to, or inspired your child, please have them complete this form to nominate a deserving staff member. It could be their teacher, an office member, support staff, custodian, cafeteria team member, etc. One staff member will be celebrated each month.
You can assist your child by helping them complete the form electronically, and we will take it from there!

Important Reminders - PLEASE READ
We have a few reminders for you to take note of. These will help us ensure that each day runs smoothly for our Hornet Community.
Student Check Out Procedures
Parents will need to bring in a physical driver's license to check out students. We cannot accept a picture of an ID, such as a picture of a driver's license on a cell phone.
Morning Arrival
We have noticed that there is a period of time between 7:10-7:20 where the car line is pretty empty. If you happen to typically get caught by the bell, that's a great time to swing by as there aren't many cars in line!
Please refrain from parking and walking students up to the doors and/or across the parking lot. This creates a safety hazard. We also need to reserve those spaces for school volunteers and substitutes.
Drop off using the GHMS car line stops at 7:30. If you arrive after 7:30, please use the GHES car line.
Tobacco Use
FMSD is a tobacco-free district. According to the district policy, students, staff, and visitors are prohibited from using tobacco products while on campus. Please keep this in mind - especially when waiting during car line (morning and afternoon).
