This Week in LVUSD
Week of March 9, 2020
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information
The Las Virgenes Unified School District is committed to the health and well-being of our students and staff as we monitor the Coronavirus. In the coming weeks, we continue to be in daily contact with the LA Department of Public Health and the LA County Office of Education. They are providing information and direction to schools and the 80 school districts in LA County. It is vital that you keep your child home from school if he/she is sick with a fever and cough until fever-free and feeling better.
We will continue to remain vigilant with sophisticated cleaning practices and ongoing communication with the experts. Additionally, we will continue to do everything we can to minimize the effects of this situation on our students, staff, and community, and will continue to provide information and updates as we receive them. Additional information regarding the coronavirus is available from the California Department of Public Health and the CDC.
