We have had a full week of learning. I love it when they say their brains are tired at the end of the day! I love to see their excitement for learning, BUT we are struggling with interrupting and talking out of turn. We have talked about this in the classroom and I know it would help if you also discuss this at home. Thank You!
A few Highlights:
ELA- Book Club book - Betsy Who Cried Wolf and our first Book Report of an AR book of our choice
-Review of Quotation Marks and homonyms
Math- Review and Mid Year test
Bible- Compassion
Science- Finished our unit on Good Health
Soc. Studies- Beginning a study on Tennessee
Upcoming Dates
-18th - No School - Martin Luther King Jr. Day
-28th - MTCS Experience Day
Book Fair coming soon - Feb. 5-11th. It will also be open from 6-7:30pm on the 9th (during open house)
