It is related to being separated from a mechanical mixture or a solution because it is separated from an ore and turned into a similar shape to coal. Then, it is burned to make power. Even though uranium is a chemical element, it is still related to separating mixtures and solutions. Here are a couple of pictures of uranium:

Benefits and Risks

There can be good things towards uranium, but there can be bad things as a result of uranium mining. Some benefits are that it doesn’t emit carbon dioxide and it gives power to our homes when we use it in power plants. Some risks could be that it is very dangerous to our health, it can cause cancer, lung cancer, breathing problems and it can be radioactive to living beings and it could cause death.
