CHS students share 3D technology
Four Chesterton High School students came to Yost Elementary recently to introduce the 3D printer to the Yost Elementary students during their lunchtime. The high school students talked to the younger students about science and engineering and shared some manufactured legos with the students. The kids loved it. There were many who stayed their entire recess to talk to the CHS students and watch the machine print. “The students thought it was really cool,” said Yost Elementary Principal Josh Huwig. This event was made possible thanks to Principal Brent Martinson and Industrial Tech teacher Tom Moodie. Chesterton High School students presenting were, center photo above, left to right, Jackson Roberts, Sam Slutzkin, Evan Ekblaw and Ryan Ehlers. (Duneland Schools photos)
