The Weekly Connection
Updates from the Principal's Office - December 5th, 2021
Message from Mrs. Jones
As we continue in the month of December, I encourage you to consider how you can focus on the second of our Core Values:
Fallbrook High School Students are responsible leaders who navigate complex life and work environments in the globally competitive information age.
Families, helping your students get to school on time each day is one of the best ways you can set them up for success each day and support them toward demonstrating responsible leadership. Leaving just five minutes earlier can be the ticket to greatly reduced congestion around drop-off areas - thank you for your continued patience and support in this area!
Students, you are so close to the end of the semester! Let's practice leadership in how we approach final exams. If you're not sure what to expect on next week's final exams, reach out to your teacher! Additionally, if you need some support in studying for exams, take advantage of our Warrior Way program and attend tutoring after school, Monday-Thursday from 3-5pm in Room 209!
Let's make this a great week, Warriors!
Fallbrook High School Warriors are:
Productive & Healthy Individuals who understand preventive physical and mental health measures, including proper diet, nutrition, exercise, risk avoidance, and stress reduction.
Responsible Leaders who navigate complex life and work environments in the globally competitive information age.
Innovative Thinkers who exhibit a range of functional and critical thinking skills in the technology and media-driven environment of the 21st century.
Determined Learners who plan and conduct research, manage projects, solve problems, and make informed decisions using appropriate tools and resources.
Effective Communicators & Collaborators who use digital media and environments to communicate and work collaboratively, including at a distance, to support individual learning and contribute to the learning of others.
Hello Fallbrook Families!
As we approach the new year the counseling department would like to remind families of our policies regarding schedule changes.
All classes are yearlong and the only changes that will be honored are level changes (where a corresponding course is available), changes needed to progress towards graduation, and those previously discussed with parent, counselor, and student in relationship to student needs.
Seniors who qualify to be a teacher's aid can apply directly with their counselor before Winter Break.Requests will be accepted until January 14th and can be made directly to your student's counselor.
Thank you!
