Swamp Pink
For Module 12.3
Facts
The Swamp Pink, or Helonias Bullata is an endangered plant found in NC. This plant that typically thrives in wetlands is having a serious decrease ever since September 9, 1998.
Why are they declining?
For a multitude of reasons. Urbanization/deforestation take over wetlands where these live, and because of invasive species. The fact that they take a lot of time to reproduce makes it really tough too.
