Principal's Message

Hello Families,

Welcome to the last week of school for 2022-2023! We have so many exciting and fun events in store for our students this week.

Monday, May 22nd is FIELD DAY 2023! Our Field Day Team has planned and organized activities sure to energize and motivate our Rockets! We ask that students wear appropriate clothing and shoes for outdoor games and activities.

On Wednesday, May 24th and Thursday, May 25th school will be dismissed at 11:00 am. Please make the necessary arrangements for your students in advance.

Our Last Day of School for Students is Thursday, May 25th. Report Cards will be available in the Parent Portal on Thursday.

This will be our last newsletter for the 2022-2023 school year. We hope you found this helpful and informative. We will continue with weekly newsletter starting in August. Have a great summer!! We will miss you!! Please be safe!

Parent Input for Student Placement

The purpose of this survey is to gather input related to your child. Our partnership with parents is key to the success of our students. At RVES, each student is individually placed in a classroom. Teacher teams are involved in providing information for the placement of students; however, school administration makes the final placement decisions. We must consider factors to maintain balanced classrooms related to class size, gender, academics, and social needs. We work to ensure that each student has a friend in the classroom. We want our students to not only thrive academically, but to thrive socially, as well.

As a reminder, parents may not request specific teachers.

If you choose to complete this form, it is certainly not required, please complete a separate form for each of your children.
