Weekly Update
We have our first all school assembly post-COVID. We celebrated our Veterans and listened to the choir perform. A special thank you to Mr. Kurtti for leading this assembly. It was a wonderful tribute to our the Veterans in our Foothills community.
Zones of Regulation
This week, students learned how to interpret how their bodies feel and how that relates to the zones they are in. Are they sleepy and achy? That can mean they are in the blue zone. Is their heart beating fast or does their tummy hurt? This might mean they are in the yellow or red zone. Learning to understand that out bodies give us clues about how we are feeling can help us know what tools to use to get our bodies feeling better.

Flexible
Our character trait of the month for November is Flexible.
- Being flexible means that you can accept changes and are willing to think differently about things.
- Being flexible can look like a willingness to adjust your schedule or even remove something fun and trusting your teacher they will return to that fun thing as soon as they can.
- Being flexible can happen in the classroom, on the playground or at home!
