Senior Day at Calhoun Community College on April 12, 2022 from 8:30a-3:30p! This year it will have a slight twist! In addition to students being able to apply, speak with an advisor, complete financial aid, speak with disability services, and tour, any student interested in one of our technology programs or CIS/Business will be able to participate in a signing, on the Decatur campus, through our partnership with NC3 (National Coalition of Certification Centers)!!! "This day is dedicated to high school students and honors those who are making a commitment to technical education. It is a day to celebrate the dignity of work!" This is a memorable moment for the student and his/her family and we are super excited about this opportunity. It also shows the student that his/her academic/career choice is just as important as a sports signing! Students may register at www.calhoun.edu/seniorday and clicking on the NC3 button. If you’re interested to learn more on NC3, please visit www.nc3.net.
Additionally, the Huntsville campus has partnered with the Huntsville Spring Fest where students will be able to participate and see the fun side of college life and enjoy the many festivities that will be offered!!! Please share this information with your seniors and remind them to RSVP at www.calhoun.edu/seniorday.
School excuses will be provided in the event they are needed for a college day. Lunch will also be served.

Sign Up to Round Up!
The Round Up Program was started by The Schools Foundation and Huntsville Utilities to support local public school systems. The Schools Foundation is a funding partner of Madison County Schools. The more residential and commercial locations that round up, the more funding we can receive. Estimates show that if just half of the residential Huntsville Utilities users rounded up, it would generate approximately $500,000 to support our schools! By rounding up your utility bill to the nearest dollar each month, you help invest in the future of our students!
You can easily sign up to round up online:
http://www.hsvutil.org/myhsvu…/checkbill/roundup/signup.html
It might be a penny, it might be 25 cents, it might be 99 cents, but it will be no more than $11.88 a year. It takes less than 1 minute to fill out.
Thank you for supporting one of our community partners! Go Bucks!
