Students do not attend school on January 16th. This is a teacher-staff development day.

Retirement

Mrs. Mangan, our counselor, has announced her retirement at the end of this school year. Mrs. Mangan has served as a counselor at Neihardt for the past 20 years. We wish her the best in her retirement.

We would love to share some amazing information with you!

We made $82 for Special Olympics Nebraska with our sports day.

Our total contributions to charities this school year is $532!!

For the first year of implementing spirit days, we've had an incredible participation!

• head injuries, for example a bumped head on the playground
• eye injuries
• bee stings
• sever falls, cuts or abrasions
• asthma symptoms, unrelieved by the use of an inhaler
• severe allergic reactions
• seizure activity
• vomiting, diarrhea, temperature

We are here to help your children and provide the best care possible.

If you have a child or know of a child in our neighborhoods who will be 5 years of age on or before July 31, 2023, please contact Mrs. Svoboda in the Neihardt school office at

There will be mailings going out from the district offices very soon about upcoming events

and we want to be sure to include everyone!

The MPS online registration portal will become available for

2023-24 Kindergarten registration on February 1, 2023.

Do you know a current 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader who loves to sing and move? We would love to have them join one of our Millard Show Choir Camps this summer! There are TWO to choose from!!! One at Beadle Middle and one at Millard North! These camps are open to ALL current 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders (kids who WILL be in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade next school year!)

Millard Public Schools is seeking voter approval to continue the levy override authority the district has had since 2018. The levy override has ensured stability in Millard. By law, it must be renewed every five years. Join us for a public presentation to learn more about the levy override.

By law, it must be renewed every five years. Without this funding, reductions in people and programs will likely be necessary across the district.
