Mrs. Miller's Monthly Memo
December 2015
Exploring careers!
This month, we are focusing on jobs and careers. The children got to have some fun with a Mr. Potato Head job board made by practicum student, Mrs. Kayce Heck. Then they had to find a partner using their puzzle pieces made from two fun books Whose Tool Is This? and Whose Vehicle Is This? The puzzle pieces are close up pictures of tools and vehicles workers use so the kids have fun guessing the worker that uses the tools. To finish, the children get to draw themselves as workers and write a sentence about what they are doing. I hope they shared this picture with you at home.
I am a firefighter.
