-November 23rd - 26th - NO SCHOOL. Thanksgiving Break.

Thank you to David Lopez and Family for Donating all the Coffee, Goodies and Ribbons for our Veterans Day event.

Dear Brantner Community,

It has been one month since you all welcomed me into your community and I wanted to just take a moment to send a huge note of gratitude to everyone.

The turn out for Trunk or Treat was amazing and just what we needed to remember the fun portion of our community.

On November 8th the staff all participated in professional development via Zoom that focused on differentiation and meeting the needs of our students in a variety of ways. They had eight different sessions to choose from and it was just what our teaching community needed to excite them about making a difference each day.

And finally, November 11th the community came together to celebrate the brave men and women that have or continue to serve our nation. This event was exactly what our community needed to remember gratitude and celebration.

Thank you all for sharing your children with us everyday, please know we are grateful for each of you!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

Lost & Found

We are getting a lot of items in our lost and found.

-Lunch boxes and Water bottles in Lost and Found with no name will be tossed out the end of every week.

-All other items in Lost and Found with no name will be donated the end of every month.

Please feel free to come and check Lost & Found for any items you may be missing.

We have a very large amount of students tardy each morning. Please try to leave just 5 min earlier to have them here on time. The tardy bell rings at 7:50 am.

Are you running a little late or did you have an appointment?

If you are running a little late or had an appointment and your student will be coming to school after the 7:50 am tardy bell rings, you will need to walk in with your student and sign them in on the clipboard in the vestibule area. Thank you.

To Check Your Child Out Early

If you need to check your child out early please come inside the front doors of the building and push the doorbell to speak with our office staff. The office staff will then call your student down to you. We ask that you please wait in the vestibule for your student and sign them out on the clipboard on the table. Unfortunately we can not call students down until you are there to sign them out. Thank you!

PLEASE send a mask to school with your student each day and an extra in their backpack.

All students PK-5 will be required to wear a mask unless a medical exemption has been turned in. You can view the Public Health Order here and if you need a mask exemption form you can print it out here.

Health Form

Please remember to fill out this form if your student isn't feeling well and will be missing school.

Student Fees

Student Fees can be paid online here or by check/cash in the office.

Kindergarten Supply Fees can not be paid online. Please give this payment to your child's teacher or the office.

Parent Visitors

Visitors need to wear a mask while on school property. We would love for parents to volunteer, however, ask that all sessions are pre-planned with your child’s teacher and scheduled, so that we can minimize the amount of outside adults in classrooms.

At this time, we can not accommodate parents coming in and eating lunch in our cafeteria. Parents are certainly welcome to continue to bring in lunch and drop it with our office staff and we will see to it that your child receives it on their way to their lunch.

Watch Dog Volunteers Needed

Brantner is a wonderfully unique school, where we partner with family members to help keep the inside and outside of our building safe. We have a resident Watch Dog, Roger Lance, a grandparent of a Brantner student, who helps oversee this program.

To volunteer for this, simply call the office and share your availability! We will provide you with a vest and radio.

Time Commitments-

Any time frame before, during, or after school.

Any time length that works for your schedule.

We would love to have you!

Birthday Treats

All treats need to be store bought and individually wrapped-no homemade treats will be allowed to be passed out. Please arrange bringing birthday treats in with your students teacher.
