PTA Updates
Thank you
A special thank you to our amazing art teacher, Katie Switzer, for organizing and running Art Night. Thank you for teaching our children to create and enjoy the fine arts. Your dedication is very much appreciated!
Thank you to Jodie Mylen and all our parent volunteers for helping set up for this event.
JES Brick Sale
Once again this year, JES families will have an opportunity to purchase a personalized brick to commemorate their child's elementary school years or honor a special teacher or staff member. Check out the pavers we already have in place along the circle drive entrance to the school.
Click here for an order form. Orders are due by April 15. All proceeds benefit the JES Gardens and Gardening Club.
Thank you for your support.
Let Me Run - Coaching Opportunity
Exciting Volunteer Opportunity: Head Coach & Assistant Coach, Let Me Run, Fall 2016
The coaches for Let Me Run are "graduating" with their boys, so we are looking for two volunteers to take over Let Me Run this coming fall. Let Me Run is a running program for rising 4th & 5th grade boys (similar to Girls on the Run). The 7-week program inspires boys through the power of running to be courageous enough to be themselves, to build healthy relationships, and to live an active lifestyle. You do not have to be a runner or have prior coaching experience, just a love for teaching boys how to strive to be their best. It's an amazing experience!

Box Tops Contest Classroom Winner!
Thank you to everyone that submitted Box Tops during our spring drive. You have helped JES earn over $600 so far this year for assemblies and other hands-on educational programs! Congratulations to Mr. Zbozny-Del Percio's First Grade for being the classroom that has submitted the most Box Tops this school year - 691! They have won an extra recess with special games and activities.
