Lansdowne Elementary School
November Newsletter ~ 2020
Principal's Monthly Message
As always we look forward to connecting with your child each and everyday. Students are expected to log on everyday, synchronous or asynchronous days to participate in the morning class meeting beginning at 8:45am. This allows time for students to connect with each other, build relationships and be prepared for the rest of the days learning.
We appreciate all efforts to ensure asynchronous classwork is completed and submitted for teachers to review. The timely completion of student work allows teachers to provide responsive feedback, monitor student understanding of skills, and opportunities for resubmission as needed. Make sure to connect with your child's teacher and/or check on Schoology for any outstanding assignments, as well access excellent resources to support learning.
The falling back of our clocks and the cool, crisp air reminds us that we are entering the season of giving thanks. Especially this year as so many of us have and continue to encounter hardships. It is so important to take time to be thankful for the moments, people and memories we hold most dear.
Here at Lansdowne there is much to be thankful: hard-working, responsible students, supportive parents and families, and a faculty all working together to make Lansdowne the best it can be!
