Panthers
Panthers also known as the ghost of the forest, are carnivores from the cat family that live in South Asia.The male is called a panther, the female is a Panthereens and the child is called a cub.
Predators and Threats
Panthers are hunted by lions and hyenas but their biggest threat of all is people.They are getting endangered because of humans deforestating their much of their home range
Prey
This is a Panther hunting its prey which is almost anything as long as it is not too big for the panther to tackle.
Babies
The panthereens can breed up to about 2 to 4 cubs.Panther cubs are born blind and do not open their eyes until they are 2 weeks old.
Interesting Information
Baby cub at two to three months learn how to hunt from their mother!
Eyes of new born cubs are closed and covered with light fur!
Panthers can survive in populated area better than ay other cat besides from domestic cats!
In the wild,panthers can live up to 12 years but in captivity they live up to about 20 years!
Panthers can jump up to 7 metres!
