WEEK ENDING IN 01/28/2022
Dear OSES Families,
This week was our award ceremony week. Medals were distributed at the teachers discretion. Congratulation to every student who was recognized!
The Florida Department of Education has designated January 24th–28th as Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! This week is designed to raise awareness about the importance of reading, and to inspire Florida's students and families to make reading part of their daily routines.
This week is also National School Choice Week. This week is designed to promote school choice among families and promotes charters as one of those choices. Help us celebrate the choice of charters and OSES.
Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you back on campus next week!

KINDERGARTEN
This week in Social Studies kindergarten is continuing to learn about bodies of water and landforms. In science this week we are beginning our unit on forms of energy.
Kindergarten had fun this week dressing up as 100 year old's to help celebrate the 100th day of school. Students also participated in different math and literacy activities focused around the 100th day.
Students’ in Mrs. Rouis’ class have spent the past few weeks working hard on their dioramas representing different landforms and bodies of water.
Some reminders: Cooler days are here! Please make sure jackets and sweaters are labeled with your child’s first and last name. Also please make sure your child comes to school with a labeled water bottle for P.E. and recess daily. Thank you 😊
