Your input is needed! Superintendent Search Survey

The Waxahachie ISD Board of Trustees is currently working to hire a permanent superintendent for the district. To assist in the process, they have hired Ray & Associates, a superintendent search firm. Ray & Associates will work with the district to gather information from the community about qualities you would like to see in our next superintendent.

The community will have two opportunities to provide the district with feedback: an online survey, and in-person forums. The online survey is available now, and we invite you to respond before Wednesday, February 6: The survey is also available in Spanish:

Waxahachie ISD will be holding a series of forums for our community to provide input to assist Ray & Associates and our Board of Trustees in this search. More forum details to follow.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide your input as our Board of Trustees strives to make the best decision possible when choosing a permanent superintendent.

Gifted & Talented student referral window is open!

Waxahachie ISD Advanced Academics would like to remind all staff and families that the gifted and talented referral window is open through March 1. We encourage you to refer any student that you believe may have a need for gifted and talented services. Referrals are submitted online at link listed below.

The referral form is available from October 1 through March 1. A student may be referred by any staff member, parent, community member, or even the student themselves! We encourage anyone that questions whether a student may need services to refer them during this window.

Kindergarten, 2nd – 4th grade, and 6th – 12th grade students may be referred. The district automatically screens all 1st and 5th grade students, so they do not need to be referred.
