Willard Transportation Survey--Complete ASAP Please!

It's critically important that every scholar gets home safely. We need your help and support though! Please complete the Willard Transportation Survey to help us know in advance how your your scholar(s) get home.

NO SCHOOL Monday -- Labor Day!

Due to Labor Day, scholars do not have school on Monday September 5th. Scholars are to report back to school Tuesday September 6th.

Willard Dismissal

Please note that dismissal begins at 3:10p and ends promptly at 3:30p. Our is to move as efficiently and safely as possible. Please reach out if you have any questions.

After School Restorative Workshop -- Starting the Week of Sept. 6th

To ensure that learning time is uninterrupted, we have initiated our behavior management hierarchy. EPW believes that individual reflection and restoration support scholars to learn and to become better scholars and persons -- and they create a safe and healthy shared community. Starting Tuesday September 6th, EPW will begin the "After School Restorative Workshops". More information can be found on the handout your scholar will be bringing home today.


RWS FAQs

  • It will be held after school every Monday - Thursday until 4:15p (Fridays are excluded)
  • Parents/guardians will be notified with an automated call if your scholar receives a RWS
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for picking their scholar(s) up when the workshop is over by entering through the parking lot doors
  • Failure to participate in a workshop will result in progressive disciplinary actions, which can include suspension
  • Scholars can receive an after-school RWS for a variety of reasons

PowerSchool: Parent Portal Setup

Want access to your PowerSchool Parent Portal?! Follow these steps. This will allow you to stay in the know of your scholar's grades and attendance.


Individual scholar information will be provided to scholars this upcoming week so that you have their specific login information and our network will be sending out further communication to support your setup.

Family Resources from the LGBTQ Center of Cleveland

As we continue to promote a more inclusive and welcoming school environment for all of our scholars, we also want to share some resources with our families and parents. The information below, seeks to support families/parents with:
  • Creating a safe space to discuss concerns such as: how to support a friend who is realizing he/she is gay, how to respond to direct harassment or joking remarks about sexual orientation, and where to get help if a scholar or a friend needs it.

  • Educating and debunking stereotypes about LGBTQ individuals and issues.

  • Empowering young people and families to become leaders and role models within their school community!

Ohio Afterschool Child Enrichment Educational Savings Program (ACE)

Program Overview

The ACE Educational Savings Account program provides qualifying families with a $500 credit that can be used to pay for a variety of enrichment activities that will accelerate learning for students impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. These funds can be used for:

  • Before- or after-school educational programs;
  • ​Day camps, including camps for academics, music and arts;
  • Fees for learning extension centers;
  • The purchase of curriculum and material for home-school families;
  • Educational, learning or study skills services;
  • Field trips to historical landmarks, museums, science centers and theaters – including admission, exhibit and program fees;
  • Language classes;
  • Musical instrument lessons;
  • Tutoring
