Monomoy elementary students to become "Shellfish Ambassadors"

Thanks to an innovative collaboration collaboration with the Cape Cod Commercial Fisherman's Alliance and A.R.C. Hatchery, third-grade students at Chatham Elementary School and Harwich Elementary School will help pilot a locally focused STEM curriculum to learn about shellfish and our local environment. To celebrate Read Across America week, Chatham Elementary School and Harwich Elementary School welcomed guest readers to visit classrooms - many thanks to the town officials, first responders, community members, and school representatives who volunteered their time to celebrate reading!

Monomoy Middle School Parents Group Chili Cook-off

The Monomoy Middle School Parents Group is hosting this year's Chili Cook-off on Saturday, April 6. This fun community event will bring together parents, students, and community members from across the district, all to raise funds for Monomoy families in need. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste all of the entries and submit their votes for the best chili, and prizes will be awarded accordingly. Admission is $10 for adults, and $5 for students and seniors. To enter your chili in the cook-off, please email
