A series of six classes on writing creative nonfiction composition led by Betty Franklin.

Mango Languages: Irish- 2 PM Saturday March 3

Mango Languages is a free language learning program available to GA library patrons of all ages. This month - Mango Irish! Céad Míle Fáilte to you!

How to - ANCESTRY.COM: 2pm Mon., March 5 & 6pm, Tues., March 13th

Genealogy & Local History Coordinator Lillian Wingate will review ancestry.com and the differences between Library and paid subscriptions.

HOW TO GET A JOB with Monique Dennis: 6pm Tuesday, March 6 & 20

Searching for a job is easier if you have help! This month we go over basic Job Search Skills on 3/6 and Resumes and Applications on 3/20.

ANIME & MANGA CLUB (ages 12 – 18) 5pm Wed., March 14 & 28

For teens and young adults interested in watching and discussing different anime series. Enjoy an activity, snacks and new episodes each week!

MEDITATION FOR STRESS RELIEF: 6PM Thursday, March 8

Local Neurologist, Dr. Kashyap Patel MD, returns to help us learn about ways that meditation can help us manage stress in our everyday lives.

Knitting & Crocheting Club - 10 am Saturday, March 10 & 24

Bring your knitting needles, crochet hooks and yarn! Share projects and get new ideas! New members welcome!

Dr. Seuss Read Across America Family Event: 2pm Saturday, March 10

Celebrate the birthday of this beloved author with games activities and books!

Join us for a special Dr. Seuss stories, coloring, crafts and more at this family event. Every child who attends will get a free book!


ADULT COOKING SERIES – 6 PM Monday, March 12

Renowned chef, Patrick White will give a live demonstration, tasting, and share some valuable cooking tips! On the menu: Breads!

GEOCACHING 101 FAMILY EVENT: 5:30 PM Thursday, March 15

Come learn about the fun and exciting world of geocaching! It's the real life treasure hunt you can do any time anywhere!


Accessing Bulloch Co. Public History Files: 6:00pm March 15

There are thousands of items in the Bulloch Co. Public History Files, and a new website allows access to them anywhere. William Wood will demonstrate how to navigate and

fully use the new site.

Essential Oils: Make & Take: RESCHEDULED TO WED. 4/25@6PM!!

Pamper yourself with spa items! We’ll be making a sugar scrub & foot soak both with essential oils. Bring 2 half pint jars with lids to bring your goodies home.

Join business consultant Monique Dennis for some helpful tips on how to find part-time jobs and present yourself to employers.


COMPUTER BASICS - how to Print: 2 pm Saturday, March 24

Basic computer skills for patrons who are unfamiliar with the computer. Instructed by Statesboro Library Technology Coordinator, Jasmine Cleveland.

See the resources available at the Library and online to research your Irish Heritage. Presented by Lillian Wingate, Genealogy & Local History Coordinator.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE: 3-5 PM FRIDAY, March 30

The need for blood is great. Help out your fellow resident and give blood if you can.

GSU Teen Mindfulness (ages 12-18): 2 pm, Saturday, March 31

Learn how negative thinking can lead to negative emotions and how you have the power to”change your thinking, change your life! Part of the GSU Nursing Series of interactive programs by GSU Nursing students and faculty promoting optimal health in our community.
