Al-Qaeda
Al-Qaeda was made in 1988 and is still present. Al-Qaeda has been designated as a terrorist organisation by the United Nations Security Council, the European Union, United Kingdom, United States of America and India. Al-Qaeda has made various attacks on many different countries. The most famous of these attacks are the 9/11 bombings on the United States. Al-Qaeda's management philosophy has been described as "centralization of decision and decentralization of execution.
9/11
One of the most famous bombings by Al-Qaeda are the 9/11 bombings of World Trade Center. Almost 3000 people died from the bombings as well as 19 hijackers on aboard the four planes.
2002 Bali Bombings Memorial
The 2002 Bali Bombings occurred on 12th of October 2002 in the Kuta in Bali. 88 Australians died in those bombings as well as 38 Indonesians, 27 English, 7 Americans, 6 Swedish Citizens and 3 Danish Citizens.
7 July 2005 London Bombings
The 7 July London Bombings were a series of suicide attacks in central London. These bombings targeted civilians using the public transport system during the morning rush hour. Four Islamist men detonated four bombs three aboard the London Underground trains across the city and later a fourth on a double-decker bus in Tavistock Square. There were 52 civilian causalities as well as the four bombers. 700 civilians were injured as well.
1996 United States Embassy Bombings.
The 1998 U.S. Embassy Bombings in East Africa resulted in 300 deaths which consisted mostly of locals. A barrage of cruise missiles were launched by the U.S. Military in response and this devastated an al-Qaeda base in Khost, Afghanistan.
