Winter Break Upcoming! No School Dec 21 - Jan 1

A reminder that there is no school from Monday, December 21st through Friday, January 1st. Enjoy your Winter Break!

Power Outages and Snow Days!

POWER OUTAGES: Now that we are moving into the later fall and winter months, we can anticipate that utility outages will occur and this may interfere with remote learning. We have prepared a power outage plan that will be shared with our communities to let everyone know what to do in the event of electricity outages or network interruptions. Check out the plan by clicking here.

SNOW DAYS: As a result of being in remote learning, we are much better equipped to deal with inclement weather (think snow, ice, etc.) than when we were in a full face-to-face learning environment. We anticipate days when snowy or icy weather might require the district to operate on a late start schedule or close, school can still take place. Sorry kids!

Help Needed - MHS Senior Class Photos

The Meadowdale Staff is re-organizing and making improvements to our Alumni Wall. We have nearly every Senior Class photo dating back to our first graduating class in 1965, but we're missing a few. We need Senior Class photos from the following years: 1967, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1974, 1976. These senior class photos are not in the yearbook during those years. If you have access to these photos, or know someone who might, please have them contact Office Manager Sandra Seery at

Well Child Care Note from the School Nurse

Well-child care is important even during a pandemic. Checkups are valuable for growth, development, early detection, immunizations, behavior support, and learning success! Many clinics have adapted visits to keep patients safe during the pandemic. If you need help connecting with a primary health clinic, don't hesitate to contact the school nurse SHERMIN DAVIDSON at or (425) 431-3072.

Important Information Regarding 1st Quarter Progress Reports

Quarter one grades are now posted. This is a progress report to show how your student is doing academically at this time. Please check your student’s grade by logging into your Skyward account or logging in together with your student through your student's Skyward account. Progress reports are also being sent via USPS mail. If you do not receive a progress report, contact the school at (425) 431-7650 to make sure we have your correct address.

If your student has earned a D and/or No Credit (NC) in any classes, then he/she is in danger of losing credit for that course at the semester. It is important to remember students must earn credit at the semester in all classes to remain on track for an on-time graduation. Please reach out to your student’s teachers about these concerning grades, or to their counselor about possible needed supports.

End of the semester is February 3, 2021. Final grades will post following that date.

Spanish Language Line Available

The Edmonds School District offers a language line resource for Spanish speaking families. In order to use this resource, please call 1-844-373-1952. A Spanish interpreter will answer the call and automatically connect with the District office. From there, callers will be connected to the appropriate school or department. The interpreter will stay on the line with the caller throughout the entire call process.
