Gray Bat

The Gray Bat is sometimes called the Myotis grisescens. The Gray Bat has become endangered because 90% of the population hibernated in the same 8 caves. The Gray Bat can possibly be found in the western part of the state. The Gray Bat is becoming extinct because of the building of dams. Dams are flooding the bats habitats. Gating, fencing, signposting, and surveillance by law enforcements are all ways that people are trying to help the Gray Bat.
