#ButteCOE EdTech

OCTOBER 1, 2019

Join the Center for Transforming Education’s House of Tech on October 10th from either 10:00-12:00 AM OR 3:30-5:00 PM! Come view and experience hands-on displays with various robotics and other classroom-friendly devices such as Sphero, Bee-Bot, BreakoutEDU, Cubetto, Ozobot, Piper, PocketLab, LittleBits, Google Expeditions, and more!

All items showcased are available for checkout as part of the CfTE Technology Exchange, a free service open to all Butte County teachers! For more information regarding the CfTE Technology Exchange, visit bit.ly/cfte-tech-exchange.

To register for this interactive, FREE event and spend time feasting on hors d’oeuvres, meeting BCOE's EdTech Coaches, and experiencing the latest EdTech devices, head to bcoe.k12oms.org!

Visit the EdTech Professional Learning Calendar for all future learning opportunities and further details about the events below!

Why join in at a monthly Tech Café? Consider it an opportunity to unwind, connect, and gain inspiration from other Butte County colleagues! Share a fun activity, ask a question, and sip a warm beverage! It's a super-informal experience with big returns!

This month, we'll be at Mug Shots Coffee House in Oroville, seated with a Makey Makey! Two class sets of these devices are available in our #CfTETechExchange! Start with us and get your hands on a demo, then bring it to your classroom!

See you on October 7th!

If you are passionate about equitable Educational Technology implementation in our Butte County Schools and value professional learning opportunities for educators, then our EdTech Ambassador initiative is designed for you!

Our EdTech Ambassador initiative creates a formal communication channel between Butte County Office of Education's EdTech Department and our Butte County teachers to ensure educator engagement with up-to-date EdTech trends, tools, and materials that enhance student learning!

Come join our dynamic team and embark upon a professional learning journey that will transcend not only your understanding of Educational Technology but also empower your colleagues with the information needed to catapult their own learning and awareness!
