Dear Parents, Guardians and Community Members,

Happy Cinco de Mayo! I am headed over to Camp Coch to enjoy some delicious tacos with many of you and your children. Thank you to the PTO for hosting and organizing this event. Also, what a perfect night to honor our awesome teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week!

Thank you,

Hero Day

On Monday, May 2nd G.C.S. celebrated Hero Day. The day began with rain, fog, thunder and lightning which caused Life Star to cancel its visit to us but we had a FULL gymnasium of Heroes including the US Army National Guard, State and local police officers, Goshen volunteer fireman, a D.E.E.P. officer and the Goshen volunteer ambulance. The event was sponsored by our P.T.O. Students visited tables where our Heroes showed equipment, pictures, and materials used in their line of work. Thank you for all our local Heroes! We are so fortunate you have you in our town!

Here are some pictures from the event. You can find more pictures on Litchfield.BZ
