CPU
A CPU, which stands for Central Processing Unit, It is a very important part of the computer. The CPU is also know as the processer or microprocessor. The CPU is responsible for preforming a sequence of stored instructions called a program.
Hard Drive
A Hard Drive is a data storing device. Everything you keep on your computer is on a hard drive.
Motherboard
A Motherboard is a printed circuit board containing the main components of a computer or other device.
CD Drive
A CD drive is short for Compact Disk-Recordable drive. It is a drive that a reads a compact disc and that is connected to an audio system.
Types of memory - RAM, ROM
RAM stands for Random Access Memory. RAM is the most common type of memory found in computers and other devices. It is a type of computer memory that can be accessed randomly.
ROM stands for Read-Only Memory. It is a type of storage used in computers and other devices. Once data has been written onto a ROM chip it cannot be removed and can only be read.
