Tardies and Absences

Beginning next semester, Renweb will send automatic notices to parents of 5th-12th grade students who have excessive absences and/or tardies. A concerted effort by our staff will be placed on holding students accountable for tardiness and absenteeism. We understand when there are unforeseen circumstances that prevent students from attending school such as illness. In these instances, please communicate with the main office within 24 hours so we can excuse the absence. Please review the handbooks under the “Resources” tab on the TPCA website (tpcs.org) for details regarding the school’s attendance policy. Thank you for your assistance in making sure our students do not miss valuable instructional time.

High School: Re-testing and Learning Lab Improvements for Second Semester

High School ONLY- Beginning on Jan. 19th, all re-teaching will occur during Learning Lab on Mondays-Thursdays. Students who need to re-test will do so on Fridays only after school at 3-4pm. If your student needs to take a re-test, please make arrangements to pick them up when they have completed the test. Students are only allowed one re-take per test and must re-take if they receive a grade of 75% or lower. Students who missed a test because of an absence can make arrangements with a teacher to take the test during or after school on Monday-Friday.
