Double Down Day of Destiny

T-TESS & the Future
Next week's faculty meeting will be to discuss several things: data from the Data Days, how T-TESS will affect us - and how we will get ahead of it, and dates/info for end of the semester stuff. Overall, it was a very long 3 days. I don't think it will be as big of a difference for us as for some other campuses and towns. It will affect the time of the principals more than anything.
However, getting ahead of the curve means changing walkthrough forms and some other language, so that this is a smooth process for all of us, and we will talk about that on Wednesday. Grant sent out a 411 - so most of next week is on there.....then a much needed break for everyone.
Crawfish Catchin'
Archery kids were outside crawfishin' today. Gent said, "If we get 50 more, we can have lunch." I think Becker put a few in his chili.
Spelling Bee with Rhodes
It was a close one - It got down to me and Ryan Brown for the final, but Melton was victorious. One down....
The Winning Ticket
Actually - We had a Spell Off, so it went a little longer.....
Dougherty: Bill of Rights
They may not look like it - but they whipped me. Dougherty's 5th period knows the bill of rights basically verbatim. Absolutely amazing. Hats off to Dougherty - if you've accomplished that this week, you've earned a weekend.
Band: Rhythm Game
Guess what? I lost this one, too. Although, the girls had a slight advantage as they didn't have to share a chair with their principal.
Land for Sale
If anyone needs some acreage see Steve Holland.
