The Reckoning of Robert
A Soundtrack based on Robert's view of what life can be like
Generally, i'd like to dedicate this soundtrack to those who have stuck by my side through all of my good and bad. Also, those who are nothing but good memories now. And finally to all of those with their own reckoning as to what life is like. It's ups and downs, highs and lows. About the things that make us happy as humans. It's both a beautiful yet vile, to an extent. One way or another though, we see it through.
"Atrophy" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (3:17)
Atrophy is when something loses it's effect due to neglect. This song encourages me to build myself up, so that I do not atrophy.
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Atrophy
"False Pretense" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (2:29)
This song portrays betrayal to me, which is something that has caused me pain in the past. This song helps me cope with I suppose.
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - False Pretense
"Waiting" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (2:59)
I feel that this song is about how life is difficult, but if we are patient, and keep waiting, things can change.

"Family Tradition" by Senses Fail (3:33)
This song helps me vent my feelings about my father, and how i feel so outcast and different, thanks to the things he's done.
Senses Fail - Family Tradition
Both this song and quote tell me that my best choice was to walk away from those whom hold me back. Otherwise, they could turn me into something I don't want to be.
An example of the much too large amount of effects and feelings that can stem from abuse.
"All I Want" by A Day to Remember (3:34)
I have a lot to say about this song. I'll just say that it inspires me to use music to help others, and to strive to be the strongest me possible.
A Day To Remember - All I Want
"Right Back at it Again" by A Day to Remember (4:18)
This song tells me to always get back up and get at it. Whether I fall, or others discourage me, I just have have to keep going. And if anyone thinks I can't make it, well, i don't to hear about it.
A Day To Remember - Right Back At It Again
"Better Off This way" by A Day to Remember (3:26)
There have been times in my life where i have changed and had to turn my back on some old friends who just weren't right for me. It was tough, but i'm better off this way.
A Day To Remember - Better Off This Way Lyrics
"If it Means a lot to you" by A Day to Remember (4:03)
This represents a relationsip I once had, but was destined to end. This song let's me reminisce in the good times, without really missing them.

It Meant a Lot to Me
While I am glad the person whom this is directed towards was a part of my life, it doesn't pain me too much that they aren't any more.
"Welcome to New York" by Taylor Swift (2:55)
In the song, I see "New York" as a place that holds ones dreams and aspirations. When you make it to the place you can be all you were meant to be.
Taylor Swift - Welcome To New York (Official Video)
Taylor wanted to welcome everyone to New York because it can be seen as the land of opportunity and dreams.
I see New York in this song not just as a land of opportunity, but a symbolism as to that of where a person belongs.
"Style" by Taylor Swift (4:03)
Honestly, I just like jamming to this song cause I like the beat, and Taylor Swift is bae.
Taylor Swift - Style
"Another Year" by Animals as Leaders (3:50)
Written as what can be called "right brain music", this band creates music that is designed to stimulate the brains creativity. I just find that really interesting as a future music major, and this is one of my favorites by Animals as Leaders.
Animals As Leaders - Another Year
"Physical Education" by Animals as Leaders (4:42)
As in "Another Year", this song was written as "right brain music", and i just think it's really cool to listen to and rock out to.
Animals As Leaders - Physical Education
Animals as Leaders
Some of my most favorite musicians in the world, these guys are brilliant.
I really like the definition of creativity. It portrays the exact reason as to why Animals as Leaders makes the music it makes. To provoke and inspire creativity in others.
"Jazzy Interlude" by Billy Munn (2:49)
As a jazz musician, this is one of my favorite tunes, and I could only dream of getting the chance to play it with a really talented jazz combo. And those trombone solos though!
Jazzy Interlude - Billy Munn
As one of the more common jazz instruments, this is one is my favorite, and the one that I play.
As probably the most widely known instrument in jazz there is, everyone seems drawn to this instrument. I myself would love to learn to play it.
