My Family for the War

Ziska is the protagonists. She is a Jew in Germany during Hitler's Reign. She is evacuated from Germany by her parents. She is taken care of by her foster family for the war.


Ziska leaves her parents Papa and Mamu because Germany was against Jews. She then meets her new parents Amanda and Matthew Shepherd. They care for Ziska, and they are her family for the war.


She meets friends during the war. First, she meets Walter, a refugee, on the Kindertransport. Then, she meets her foster brother Gary Shepherd. Also, she meets Hazel in the event of being evacuated from England.
