Deep in the Heart of Fulshear
Wow! What a day to be a hound! Your students should sleep well tonight after a super exciting day that included our last House Pep Rally of the year, as well as the much anticipated HOUND HUSTLE! We can not say thank you enough to our entire community for coming together to support this event. We have raised over $35,000 that will go to updating our science lab and resources, outdoor learning spaces, and campus beautification projects. A very special thank you to Kristen Cox, Kelly Jones, and Kaila Hamilton (our Hound Hustle Mamas) and their families for spearheading this event and making an amazing vision come to life. What a fun way to celebrate the end of the school year!
Speaking of that, can you believe next week is our last week of the 2021-2022 school year?! We are so proud of our hounds and what they have accomplished. Next week, we look forward to celebrating at our grade level Celebration of Learnings! Be sure to check out the schedule below and take a moment to RSVP if you have not done so already. Please note that the last day of school is Thursday, May 26th. There is no school on Friday.
Today we had some guest administrators...our principals and assistant principal for the day! They have announced that students will have free dress through the rest of the school year! Please remember that all outfits must follow the LCISD dress code. They are also encouraging all students and staff to wear their favorite sports shirts or jerseys on Monday.
Have a great weekend!

Lamar CISD has announced its participation in the Seamless Summer Option for the 2021-2022 school year, offering healthy meals every school day to all students at no cost.
Typically, a student’s household must meet income eligibility requirements to qualify for free or reduced-price meals. However, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued guidance that allows schools to offer meals to all students at no cost for the 2021-2022 school year.
While no application or eligibility determination is required for our students to receive free meals this school year, income eligibility requirements will likely resume in the 2022-2023 school year.
Extra lunch entrees and a la carte items are not included with the no cost meals.
