Distance Learning Week 2 - Audubon Park School

Happy Sunday Falcon Family,

I would like to bring your attention to Ms. Quintanna and her dedicated middle school cast of Annie. The show was to take place this weekend. For several months the students, Ms. Quintanna and some dedicated volunteers worked awfully hard. So much time and practice went into what surely would have been a stellar performance.

In addition, our remaining band, chorus and orchestra performances have been postponed. Our track season was supposed to begin this week as well. Our coaches and athletes got as far as the try outs.

While we are all disappointed, it is important to remember that the talent still lies within our talented students. And when the time is right , they will all soar high once again.

As we approach week 2 of our distance learning plan, I’d like to thank the teachers, parents and students for adjusting and for providing valuable feedback regarding the process. We will implement minor tweaks this week that will benefit all.

April is Autism Awareness Month. Take a photo with an Autism Awareness Ribbon along with your message of inclusion to be included in our Friday Falcon News Show. See details below my message.

Good luck this week. Stay safe.
