Weekly Update
Strive Center for Autism - May 7, 2021
Bugs are everywhere!
May's theme is insects, and the kids are loving it! We've got toy bugs to catch and inspect, and in both centers we have caterpillars that are now in cocoons, and we are anxiously awaiting our butterflies!

Meet Rendi, ABA Therapist in Brighton
Rendi has worked at the Strive Center for Autism since July 2020. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education.
Rendi has previously worked at Howell High School as a Tech Mentor, Franklin Road Christian School as a 1st grade teacher and Fairlane Christian School as a 6th grade teacher.
She enjoys reading, gardening, going to church and working with a Church Foster Care Group.
BHCOE Accreditation Update
We are awaiting the results for our Behavioral Health Center of Excellence accreditation, and the evaluators have reached out to us to explain that the last component needed to finalize our results is interviews with families and staff. If you have been contacted by the BHCOE, please consider responding for an interview. The interviews are relatively short in length, and are a necessary component for the BHCOE to confirm some of the details we've shared with them. Thank you for your help!
