APRIL CMAS TESTING
MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR APRIL TESTING DATES
Monday, April 19th & Tuesday 20th: 5th grade
Wednesday, April 21st & Thursday 22nd: 3rd grade
Tuesday, April 27th & Wednesday 28th: 4th grade
We ask that you please help encourage your student(s) to get a good night’s rest, eat a healthy breakfast, be on time, and do their best on each test! Below you will find a calendar showing more details. If you have any further questions, feel free to call the main office.
On the day of testing, students should arrive at school at 8:00 am. Students should make sure they bring their own charged Chromebook and their water. Students need to wear their masks at all times while on school property. See below to see when students should be picked up.
If you are not feeling well, do not come to the test. (Please refer to the school website for our safety protocols for the testing sessions.) There will be no uniform policies enforced for the test sessions.

Dangerous TikTok Challenge
Dear LSE families,
We wanted to make you aware of a dangerous social media challenge targeting children that have gained popularity once again. The “Blackout Challenge” (which has also been referred to as the “Pass Out Challenge” and “Speed Dreaming”) is a trend on social media apps, like Tik Tok, that encourages children to hold their breath and/or use household items to choke themselves until they lose consciousness.
We are asking all parents and guardians to have a serious talk with their children about the severity and danger of this challenge, as well as safe and responsible use of social media and the internet. Having open conversations with your children and family can promote trust, safety, and prevention. As always, encourage your children to report any concerning or inappropriate behavior to a trusted adult. Students are always welcome to talk to their teacher, school counselor, principals, etc., about any concerns, worries, or questions they may have.

PBIS Store
Kinder, 1st, & 2nd grades will pick up purchased items on April 9, 2021
Hours of operation:
Prize pick-ups will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Fridays) outside of the elementary gym.
Orders must be placed by Friday (April 2, 2021) before Pick up
School Library
The Lotus library is now open for book requests for all grades (K-5). Please use the link below to look through the lists of books that are available. For easier access use your student's school Gmail account.
Your books can be picked up every Thursday between 3:00-4:00 PM. When picking up your books please do the following:
1) If you are picking up your PBIS purchases, please go around the school to the elementary gym first before picking up your library books.
2) If you are coming only to pick up your books, please use the drive by the auditorium at the front of the school.
