Tech news, troubleshooting and more!
What to do when your tech won't work?
We've all had it happen. You go to use your board or document camera and it was working fine 30 minutes ago, but now.....nothing! Don't panic! Here are some things to try FIRST.
- Make sure everything is plugged in. (power cords, USB cables, network cables) If not, plug it back in and see what happens.
- Shut everything down. (don't just restart, shut it down)
- Unplug the power source and plug it back in.
- Turn everything back on.
- Open the program running the device that was having problems and see what it does.
If this doesn't solve your problem, it's time for back up! Send an email to Mrs. Paruszkiewicz (Tech Lead teacher), Ms. Bishop (ITRT), or Mrs. Kaufman (ITRT) and we'll troubleshoot further or pass it along to our amazing Network Engineer.
Spelling City Survey
If you haven't had a chance, please fill out the survey for Spelling City. I think I've worked out the issues for being able to fill out the form and I know Ms. Fizer and Ms. Lobo will be paying VERY close attention to the results. If you have only used the free version, you know how great it is to not have to read aloud words for spelling tests anymore, and the paid version is even better. It tracks student data for you and save student data to track progress.
Kid's Page Under Construction
You may have noticed that the Kid's Page is looking a little different these days. I am attempting to update the page, remove broken links and make it more user friendly. Please bear with me as this change takes place, I'm trying to teach myself the program to do all this as I go. If you have any page suggestions, please fill out the quick form below and i'll add them. Thanks so much for all your help!!!

You can team up with a buddy! You'll earn two hours of tech credit (1 hour for planning and one hour for presenting a 50 minute session) and I'll be forever grateful!! email email@example.com
