Week 12
As the holidays get closer, please let me know if you are planning on going out of town during the school week. That way I can let the office know and your trip won't get interrupted by a call from the school.
There is an early release this coming Friday.
This is our last week in our Family and Friends Unit! For week 4 we will focus on My Community. We are going to learn about the different people that live, work, or play close together. We are going to explore the people in their community who keep them safe and healthy.
Our Vocabulary this week: community, neighbor
Photo discussion cards: firefighter, police officer, mail carrier, construction worker, neighbor
This week's letters: F, f, O, o
For math we are looking back at our attribute words and how to sort things into different categories. Words like: blue, circle, classification, rectangle, red, square, triangle, yellow
For our calm down strategy, we will be working with two strategies this week. S.T.A.R. and Balloon breathing.
