An overview of Alan Turing
Alan Turing was a WW2 code-breaker who made ‘The Bombe’ which helped to break the enigma code by testing the 150,000,000,000,000 possible combinations from the words the mathematicians fed into the computer.
Enigma key-sheets were given to code-makers every month in order to tell them what setting they should put their enigma machine onto every day.
