A Flyer about Alan Turing

An overview of Alan Turing

Alan Turing was a WW2 code-breaker who made ‘The Bombe’ which helped to break the enigma code by testing the 150,000,000,000,000 possible combinations from the words the mathematicians fed into the computer.

Enigma key-sheets were given to code-makers every month in order to tell them what setting they should put their enigma machine onto every day.

How The Bombe worked

The Bombe tested the possible combinations for the letters that Turing and his team fed into the Bombe.
